A tenement building blaze in Lanarkshire is sending thick plumes of black smoke through a town.
Emergency services rushed to Blantyre's Main Street at around 9.58am as the fire tore through the building.
Police closed off the busy road as worried residents took to social media to express their shock.

It is not yet known if there are any injuries.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue service said: "We were called to reports of a fire in a tenement block in Blantyre's Main Street around 9.58am this morning.
"Six pumps were mobilised to the fire."

Clare Haughey MSP took to Twitter after learning of the news.
She said: "Shocked to hear about this fire in #Blantyre. Hoping all involved are safe and well.
"I will be in touch with the businesses affected to offer any assistance I can.
"Thank you to @fire_scot for your bravery in fighting this blaze."
