A WARNING has been issued to the public by cops not to take pills that were lost on a bus.

Police said the medication was lost on a service bus in the Baillieston area between 2.30pm and 3pm on Saturday.

The medication included Lamotrigine and Pregabalin, which can be used to treat epilepsy and bipolar disorder among other things.

A force spokesman said: "The bag contained Lamotrigine and Pregabalin and if taken without medical supervision could have potentially serious consequences."

Police said they were told about the lost medication on Monday evening.
