A BROKEN guitar almost pulled the strings on Gerry Cinnamon's highly-anticipated homecoming gig at TRNSMT.
The singer moaned that his guitar wasn’t working when he kicked off his Glasgow Green set with Lullaby on Friday night.
The Castlemilk-born star demanded, “Give me another guitar before I smash it,” as he struggled to open his set.

He then apologised: “Sorry about this. But it will take more than a broken guitar to stop us. Are yous up for the best weekend ever?"
The star, 33, then delivered on that promise as he belted out tracks including Canter, Fortune Favours the Bold, What Have You Done and Sometimes.
Around 40,000 revellers took in Gerry's third performance for third year running at the festival including former Hoops legend Simon Donnelly.
