Drinks giant Tennent’s has tried to heal the rift between Noel Gallagher and Scots singer Lewis Capaldi by tweeting a picture of the Oasis star with a pint of their lager.
The post appeared on Twitter after Gallagher took his feud with Capaldi to the next level by branding Scotland a “third world country.”
Ahem… Now, now @NoelGallagher @LiamGallagher @LewisCapaldi. As you were, lads. We know you ALL love Scotland, really. Especially Noel judging by this snap... 😉 Definitely? Maybe? 🍻 pic.twitter.com/yJT7WiheJK

In response to the tweet, the fizzy drinks giant posted: "Who's the soft drink now eh? @TennentsLager"
And Tennent's bantered back: "What’s happened to you @irnbru?
"You used to be so much sweeter.."

The socila media sparring comes after Gallagher previously asked in a radio interview: "Who's this Capaldi fella? Who the f*** is that idiot?"

Capaldi playfully hit back, wearing a parka on stage at Glastonbury before unveiling a T-shirt with Noel's face on it encased in a love heart.
But the jibe from Gallagher - where he slaughtered Capaldi as Chewbacca and urged him to enjoy his "15 minutes of fame" - sparked an angry response from the Scottish public as well as the nation's favourite fizz.
Irn Bru's post racked up more than 20,800 likes and over 2,900 shares.
