A TRNSMT artist has paid tribute to tragic Robyn Fryar who was killed in an alleged hit and run.

The popular teenage girl was out with friends in Paisley and was crossing Glenburn Road, near Fereneze Drive, when she was struck. She was due to attend the Glasgow Green music festival on Friday and her friends wanted to ensure a tribute was done to remember her.

An appeal on social media aimed at her favourite artists Mabel and AJ Tracey was therefore launched. It said: "Sadly she'll never get the opportunity to go with all her best friends and some of the people she loved the most."

Glasgow Times:

AJ Tracey, above, who played the main stage on Friday, tweeted: "Thank you TRNSMT and thank God for a great show today. RIP Robyn."

Last week, Robyn's family released a statement following her death saying there were no words to describe their loss.
