Bank Holiday rail users are being asked to expect delays this afternoon after a signalling fault at a station in the west of Glasgow.

ScotRail reported the fault at Westerton station at around 3.20pm this afternoon - and say disruption is expected for the next hour.

It is affecting services between Balloch and Airdrie, Dalmuir and Cumbernauld and Helensburgh/Milngavie and Edinburgh.

These services travel through both Glasgow Central Station and Glasgow Queen Street station.
