Scotland captain Andy Robertson has been awarded the prestigious Golden Can from Tennent's to add to his trophy cabinet - that already boasts a Champions League winners medal.
The Liverpool full-back landed the gong after a special year that saw him narrowly miss out on the English Premier League title before holding aloft the European Cup.
Robbo - who counts Dundee United and Queens Park among his former clubs - admits he was delighted to pick up the Big Juicy prize after a memorable twelve months.
He said: “I’m grateful to Tennent’s for awarding me this accolade at the end of an incredible season.
"It’s a real honour to be joining some of Scotland’s greats across the cultural and sporting landscapes – from Irvine Welsh and Biffy Clyro to Martin Compston and Mark Millar.”
Alan McGarrie, Group Brand Director at Tennent’s, added: “Andy represents every one of us who had a dream to play for their country.

"There have been ample opportunities throughout Robertson’s story where he could have settled, rather than captaining his country.

Former recipients of the Golden Can include sports stars James McFadden and The 2018 Scottish Rugby Team after their Calcutta Cup victory.
