A man 'pinned a woman down and injected her with heroin' before allegedly raping her and attacking her with a machete, a court has heard.
Zane Marks, 34, appeared at Glasgow's High Court accused of rape and assault of two women.
He is accused of raping one woman on various occasions between December 2017 and April 2018 at various addresses in Greenock.

Prosecutors also allege that Marks, from Greenock, assaulted a woman - who can't be named for legal reasons - by punching her body, injecting her with drugs and striking her arm with a machete.
He is also charged with causing the woman to advertise that she was engaged in prostitution and compelling her to engage in sex with a number of men.
Marks is accused of living wholly, or in part, on earnings from alleged prostitution.

The 34-year-old is charged with raping another woman at a Dumbarton address on December 12 or 13, 2018.
He faces charges of having heroin and cocaine in his possession and stealing cash, clothes, watches and household items from an address in Greenock.
Defence counsel John McElroy said: “The trial is expected to last six days.”
Judge Lord Matthews said: “I shall schedule the trial for January 6.”
