A vigil is to be held on George Square to remember the 394 Glasgwegians who lost their lives to drugs.

Members of the public will be encouraged to light candles in a show of support for families affected and those who died. The vigil is due to be held at 10pm on Sunday.

A total of 394 deaths were recorded in Greater Glasgow and Clyde last year 2018, a 33 per cent increase and the most of any region in Scotland.
