A missing teenager may have travelled to Glasgow City Centre or Edinburgh, police believe.
Zoe Ferguson, 14, left her home in Craigflower View, Torryburn, in Fife, sometime between 10pm on Monday and 2.30am on Tuesday.
There has been a possible sighting of Zoe at around 9am on Tuesday in the Dunfermline area and officers are currently progressing this line of inquiry.

Zoe is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall with long brown hair. She was wearing a grey hooded top, black jeans and white trainers.
Members of the public are being asked to report any sightings of her on public transport or in these areas to police immediately.

Any sighting or information should be given officers via 101, quoting incident number 0403 of 23rd July.
