ROYAL Mail has launched an internal probe after one of their vans flipped over during a crash on the M8 this week.
We reported on Tuesday that a driver was involved in the one-vehicle crash on the busy stretch of motorway near junction 15 at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Royal Mail said that their driver left shaken by the incident and did not suffer any injuries. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The firm also said that there was no mail in the van at the time of the crash.

A Royal Mail spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in an accident on the M8 Westbound on July 23.
"Our driver was taken to hospital to be examined and although shaken, did not suffer any injuries.
"There was no mail in the vehicle at the time. We are carrying out an internal investigation into how this happened."
