Paddy Power have mocked Celtic's third kit weeks after their controversial Huddersfield Town jersey prank.

The betting giants took a light-hearted pop at the Scottish Champions after their new pink and grey strip was launched at yesterday's Celtic Festival event.

We told earlier how Hoops fans slaughtered the kit design, with some branding it "disgusting" and "the worst kit ever".

And Paddy Power hopped on the bandwagon with a put-down on social media.

Sharing snaps of the strip, Paddy Power wrote: "Not even we would be that cruel."

They accompanied the tweet with #SaveOurShirt - the initiative at the centre of their own hoax earlier this month.

The bookies released a fake Huddersfield jersey with their own branding emblazoned diagonally down the front of the shirt.

Thousands of fans from clubs around the UK and beyond slated the club and company for their "shameless" branding - only for it to be confirmed as a joke.

Paddy Power's creative idea is to sponsor the club with a sponsor-less kit.

Motherwell recently signed up to the #SaveOurShirt campaign - netting a record cash deal.
