COPS are hunting a thief who raided a home in Scotstoun. 

The force said the housebreaker robbed a house in Manor Road last Tuesday, July 20 at around 5.15pm. 

A number of items were stolen, the value of which was not revealed. 

The force added that a man was within the area at the time who may be able to assist police with enquiries.

He is described as of Asian appearance, 5ft 8 inches in height, of slim build, early 20s, with dark curly hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved top, blue tracksuit bottoms and a bright pink baseball cap.

Constable Rachel Fulton, Community Investigation Unit, Govan Police Office, said: “We have been making enquiries in the area since the break-in but have not been able to identify the man so far, however, we would now ask anyone who was in the area, especially in Victoria Park Drive North and Balshagray Avenue to think back to Tuesday and see if they remember seeing a man wearing a bright pink baseball cap about the area.

“If you have any information about the man or the housebreaking, then please contact officers at the Community Investigation Unit at Govan Police Office via 101.
