A MAN is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today in connection with an alleged break-in at a luxury store. 

Police were called to the store on Ingram Street on Sunday night after receiving a report of an alleged break-in. 

The Evening Times understands that it was high-end retailer Mulberry who are best known for their luxury leather handbags.

A 54-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 8.50pm on Sunday, August 4 police received a report of an alleged break-in at a store in Ingram Street.

"Officers attended and a 54-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with an alleged incident.

"He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today."
