MUSIC legend Johnny Marr has been forced to leave the stage due to extreme weather conditions in Edinburgh.
The legendary musician, 55, was supporting Primal Scream at the gig in Edinburgh's Princes Street Gardens on Saturday night - but halfway through his set, he was forced to abandon the show.
Revellers at the outshow door were shown an announcement on the screen which said: "This is a safety announcement. It is necessary to stop the show temporarily. More information to follow."
Music fans attending the show took to Twitter to express their shock over the short set.
