POLICE have launched a murder inquiry following the death of a 40-year-old man in Glasgow earlier this week in what cops have called a 'violent and targeted attack'.
Thomas Milne was found dead by emergency services within a block of flats in Saracen Street.
Police were called at around 5pm on Thursday night after reports that a man had been injured.

At this stage, there is no information on the suspect, however, officers are checking CCTV footage from in and around the area for any additional information which could assist the investigation.
Door-to-door enquiries also continue to be carried out, with Thomas' family informed and a report to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Inspector Ally Semple, Major Investigations Team, said: “Thomas has been the victim of a violent and targeted attack and it’s imperative we trace whoever is responsible for his murder.
