For celebrity wrestler Grado it was a case of art imitating life rather than the other way round when he volunteered to be a life model for Glasgow arts project.
The actor and star of sitcom Scot Squad kept his clothes on, however, as he posed for artists taking part in Project Ability at the Trongate yesterday afternoon.
A wrestling ring was set up for Grado to make his grand entrance.
He then posed for an hour to give artists the chance to sketch him.
Project Ability, established in 1984, is a visual arts organisation. They create opportunities for people with disabilities and people with lived experience of mental ill-health, aged five years to 80 plus, to express themselves and achieve their artistic potential.
