A KELSO woman has been found guilty after a trial of assault and making racially offensive comments.
Forty one year old Lucinda Cosker of Orchard Park, had denied the offences which happened in Inchmyre, Kelso, on February 28.
But she was found guilty of both offences following the trial at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Cosker was fined £200 for assaulting a woman by striking her on the head, pulling her hair and kicking her repeatedly on the body.
She was fined another £100 for behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing and making the racially abusive comments.
