THE heartbroken sister of tragic biker Allan Nicholson who was killed by a cocaine-fuelled driver has hit out after her brother's killer was just handed six years.

Pamela Nicholson took to Facebook to express her shock over the sentence today.

It comes after William McLean was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh.

McLean, 35, of Cathkin had earlier admitted causing the death of Allan, 24, on November 10 last year after driving dangerously on roads between Motherwell Road, in Bellshill and the A725 East Kilbride expressway, near to the Raith Interchange.

Allan's sister took to Facebook to say: "How is the life of my beautiful, baby brother, worth 6 years?

"His defence “His family life will be disrupted and the guilty is a ‘broken man.’”

She added: "This judge wants to spend five minutes in a room with my father and he’ll really know the definition of a broken man and a disrupted family! Enraged."

We previously reported that the family slammed a judge after he let McLean out on bail to see his daughter start school.

His sentence was originally deferred until the end of August because his daughter was due to school and he did not want to miss out on the milestone.

Allan's family and friends have also created a petition calling for people who cause, or are suspected to have caused, death through dangerous driving to be detained.

More than 4,000 people have backed the petition so far.
