A fundraising drive to support the family of a 12-year-old boy who died after suffering an electric shock has passed £1,000.
We reported earlier that a Glasgow schoolboy, named in tributes as Daniel, died in hospital one week after coming into contact with overhead powerlines in Milton.
He had reportedly been on the railway bridge on Sunday, August 18, when he touched the lines, and was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition.

But the young lad could not be saved and passed away on Saturday evening.
Kindhearted Margaret Stevenson launched the GoFundMe page yesterday in the schoolboy's memory.
Donations from friends, family and heartbroken Scots have pushed the fundraiser to £1,390 at time of writing, surpassing the original £1,000 target.
Writing on the page, Margaret said: "Daniel recently lost his life at only 12 years old.

"The family deserves some sympathy and help and support. Any donations are appreciated. Thank you."
Tributes have been left on the bridge where the accident occurred, with locals laying flowers and messages in Daniel's memory.
One heartbreaking note, written in blue pen, reads: "RIP. You are my best friend and I will miss you forever. Love, Marty."

Another described the 12-year-old as like a 'big brother', and said they would miss him always.
And a third read: "RIP, my best friend. We will miss you loads. I won't forget you."
