Glasgow will play host to its second-annual Dog Lover show next weekend.

Fans of adorable pups will descend on the SEC for a show that is expected to be even 'bigger and better' than last year, according to organisers.

Over 40 breeds of dogs will be featured over the course of the two-day event, and more than 150 exhibitors will be on site.

Organisers said: "Expect a fantastic day out for all the family! A weekend where you can enjoy brilliant performances and displays from some of the most talented dogs in the UK.

"Meet even more dogs this year with 40 plus breeds and visit the shows Vets, Grooming, Traning and Children's features. The main stage has non stop action from 10am till 1pm and the full programme repeats at 1.30pm to 5pm allowing a half-day visit possible.

"Visit over 150 exhibitors who will have everything your dog could ever wish for, you’ll be sure to find that special something for them. In fact, you could say it’ll be a dog lover’s heaven!
