COPS are investigating vandalism and deliberate fire at a restaurant in Bothwell.
The forve said the incident was reported at around 3 am on Saturday when a vehicle caused damage to the rear of the San Vincenzo restaurant on Main Street and a small fire had to be extinguished.
Cambuslang CID are keen to speak to anyone who might have seen a light coloured pick-up truck in the area between 2.30am and 3.15am.
Detective Sergeant Robert Andrews said: "We have conducted local inquiries and reviewed CCTV footage and we're keen to speak to anyone who has any information about a light coloured pick-up truck around the time of the incident.
"We believe the vehicle drove along Ferry Road and onto Blantyre Mill Road around 3 am.
"If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact us on 101 quoting incident number 0604 of 31 August 2019.
"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111 anonymously."
