A FORMER city centre bookies could be turned into a coffee shop if city planners approve a proposal.
Coffee Beans has asked the local authority for permission to change the use of the unit on Argyle Street which was a bookmakers.
The plans, which signal the coffee shop could be called The Deli, state that the current empty premises will offer a takeaway facility for coffees, teas, and snacks.
A decision is expected on the plans by October 14. The last date for comments is September 13.
