Tommy Sheridan has thanked The Proclaimers after they donated £1000 to the Hope Over Fear rally for Scottish independence in Glasgow.
The crowdfunding project aimed to raise funds for a Hope Over Fear rally on September 21 in George Square.
Sheridan tweeted: "Thanks to the Proclaimers. Guys who have always promoted freedom and independence for Scotland. They don't just talk the talk they also walk the walk"

The event takes place between 12 to 4pm and will include live music and speakers
