A woman has been rushed to hospital in serious condition after she was allegedly attacked within a Glasgow flat.
Police raced to the scene at Snowdon Place at around 8pm yesterday evening.
Ambulance crews also attended.
A 23-year-old woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University hospital where she remains for treatment.
Her current condition is still described as serious.
A 31-year-old woman has since been arrested in connection with the alleged attack.
A spokesman for the force said: "At about 8pm last night a 23-year-old woman was assaulted within a flat on Snowdon Place.
"She was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where she is being treated for serious injuries.
"Medical staff describe her condition as serious.
"A 31-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident."
