A man has died after being struck by a train near Cardonald Station.
Emergency services raced to the scene last night as trains were suspended between Glasgow Central Station and Paisley Gilmour Street Station.
ScotRail announced to customers on Twitter that a person had been hit.
British Transport Police have now confirmed the man involved in the incident died at the scene.

A spokesman said: "British Transport Police was called at 9pm on September 8 to Cardonald railway station, Glasgow, following a report of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics attended, however, sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have since been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
