Irish band Clannad are to perform in Glasgow next year as part of a world tour.
The Grammy winning traditional music legends will play Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on March 6, 2020.
The tour has been organised to celebrate the launch of In A Lifetime, a career-spanning greatest hits deluxe collection, due for release on March 13 2020, marking the band's 50th anniversary.
Clannad was formed in 1970 by siblings Ciarán Brennan, Pól, and Máire Brennan and their twin uncles Noel and Pádraig Duggan.
The five grew up in Dore, an area of Gweedore, a remote parish in County Donegal in the northwest corner of Ireland.
From 1980 to 1982, they recorded and toured as a six-piece group with Enya Brennan on additional keyboards and vocals, before she left the group to pursue a solo career. Their music was featured on films including Braveheart and Last of the Mohicans.
The tour will begin in March 2020 and continue until December, with concerts in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South East Asia due to be announced.
UK tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday from clannadband.lnk.to/D2CFA
