A woman was taken to hospital with an arm injury after being struck by a train near Port Glasgow.
Emergency services raced to the scene at Cartsdyke Station in Greenock on Friday evening following a report of a casualty on the tracks.
ScotRail raised the alarm at around 9pm, and alerted train users of significant delays.

Trains were cancelled between Glasgow Central and Gourock after the incident, which involved a woman in her 20s.

British Transport Police attended along with paramedics, where the woman was found to have survived the ordeal.
She was treated at the scene and taken to hospital with an injury to her arm, which is neither life-threatening or life-changing.

BTP confirmed to The Evening Times that they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
