A MAN has been arrested and charged after an alleged assault in an East Kilbride restaurant.
The 28-year-old was released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.
We previously reported that a 23-year-old required treatment after he was allegedly punched to the face within Tinto's restaurant on Hunter Street.

The alleged attack reportedly happened at around 7.30pm on Sunday, September 1.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"He has been released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
