Police are investigating after two cars were set on fire in the driveway of a property in Coatbridge this morning.
Emergency services were called to the property in Tantallon Drive in Townhead around 2am.
The fires severely damaged the two cars, a Mercedes and a BMW, and police have deemed they were set deliberately.

Detective Sergeant Graeme Lawrence, Coatbridge CID, said: "This was a terrifying experience for the owners of these vehicles.
"Enquiries are underway and I would ask anyone who was in the area in the early hours of Sunday morning and saw or heard anything suspicious to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0630 of 22 September 2019.
"Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where information can be given in confidence."
