Negri was in the city with former player Michael Mols to take part in a challenge for Rangers Charity Foundation. They both climbed Ben Nevis at the weekend and once they completed the challenge the players paid tribute to Fernando Ricksen with a toast at the summit. Fernando died last week at just 43 after a long battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
