A young girl has been left needing hospital treatment after being struck by a car in Hamilton.
Emergency services were called to High Blantyre Road just after 8am this morning.
The youngster was treated at the scene and was taken to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Just before 8.15am on High Blantyre Road at the junction of Glenlee Street a female child was hit by a car.
"Emergency services attended the scene and she was taken to Wishaw General Hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
It's thought her injuries are not thought to be serious.
