Still Game fans heading to the final farewell at the Hydro could travel to see the show in style after an exclusive shuttle service was announced. 

First Glasgow have unveiled the X5 'Hydro Express' service which will run between the city centre and venue, via Craiglang, each night through the performance's run. 

The show opens on September 27 and runs until October 13, with people travelling from far and wide to say a fond farewell to the gang from Craiglang.

Now, First say they are making it easier for you to enjoy your night by giving the car a night off.

The shuttle service will run between the city centre and the Hydro every 10 minutes, starting from West Regent Street at 6pm prior to the show until 7:30pm.

The service will then restart from the Hydro following the final curtain call and operate for 90 minutes.

During these operating times the service will run from every 10 minutes, with tickets costing £3 for a single or £5 for a return on the service.

Duncan Cameron, operations director for First Glasgow, said: “We are delighted to provide this shuttle service for fans travelling to and from Still Game at the Hydro.

“We are keen to provide the venue with transport option for what promises to be sold out shows and hopefully Still Game fans will enjoy using the fast and convenient service to get to and from the city for the shows.”
