BBC weather presenter Judith Ralston has revealed how male fans have sent her underwear in the post.

The glamourous BBC Scotland forecaster even claimed she got a back massager sent to her from one of her dedicated fans, The Daily Record reports.

The 51-year-old said: "I do get some weird ones. I have had to block people who have sent me pictures and stuff like that.

"The most common one of late has been messages saying, ‘So, tell me about yourself’. What am I going to say to that?

“I have been sent underwear. I also got sent a back massager, a massive one. I gave it to my boss and said, ‘You might want to deal with this’."

The mum-of-two, who has a son Alex, 17, and eight-year-old twins Max and Georgia, added: "I don’t pay much attention to it because I’m busy with my kids but I do stumble across stuff and I laugh.

“At the end of the day I’m a middle-aged mother of three and that’s how I see myself. I’m well held in by a good pair of pants. There’s no slinky underwear underneath me. I always say that to girls who message me.”

Speaking on the Football Daft podcast, Judith continued: “My son is comfortable with it now but he did get embarrassed when there were a few comments at school.

"Some of the older boys would come in and say, ‘‘Seen your maw on the telly, I turn on Reporting Scotland to watch you maw’.

“But I think my fan base is now an older generation. I get people saying, ‘My granddad loves you’.”
