The family of a young Motherwell man have been left "worried sick" after he failed to return home on Sunday evening.

Police are appealing for information to help trace missing 21-year-old Dylan Kenmure and a local search has also been launched.

Dylan was last seen at Motherwell train station heading towards Bellshill Road wearing a black Nike tracksuit, but he never made it home.

Glasgow community page No1Seems2Care has also shared an appeal to trace the young man.

They wrote: "Dylan Kenmure has been reported missing to police and has not been seen since Sunday night.

"He has not been in touch with any of his family or friends.

"This is not like Dylan to not be in touch with someone.

"His mum and brothers and family are worried sick about him.

"We all just want him home safe".

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed that Dylan's disappearance has been reported to them and enquiries are ongoing.
