A teenager has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a 'stabbing' at Rutherglen railway station.
British Transport Police said a man, 18, and 14-year-old-boy were arrested in connection with the murder bid, which happened last night at around 5 pm.
The incident left a teenage boy fighting for his life after suffering serious injuries to his chest and lower body.
He was taken to hospital where he is now in a stable condition.
They force have since confirmed that the younger of the teenagers has been charged, meanwhile the other has been released.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: "A 14-year-old boy from Glasgow was arrested.
"He has since been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday October 9.
"An 18-year-old man was arrested at the same time. He has since been released without charge."
