A sex attacker was described as being like a "dog in heat" as he pounced on a woman.
Konrad Wojcik, 22, struck in the early hours near a block of flats in Glasgow's Whiteinch in June 2017.
A witness described being shocked as she clocked Wojcik on top of his 25-year-old victim.
Wojcik denied a charge of sexual assault during a trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
But, the first offender was found guilty and could face a jail-term when he is sentenced next month.
A woman who spotted the pair initially thought they were a couple.

But, Caroline McCormack added: "I had a quick look and the man was on top of her. She was on the ground. I felt concerned.
“It was quite disturbing like a dog in heat.”
The witness alerted police before going to help the woman.
Wojcik was later found nearby.
Sheriff Ian Fleming found Wojcik, now of Gwent, Wales, guilty of the crime.
He was placed on the sex offenders list and bailed pending sentencing.
