MUSIC legend Sir Rod Stewart will support the work of Celtic's charity by attending a gala dinner in New York today.
The Maggie May star, who plays the city's Hydro next month, will be among 300 guests including Hoops manager Neil Lennon at the event.
The second gala dinner will help raise funds for projects for vulnerable children and young people in Scotland, Ireland and New York.
Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton, said: “We would like to sincerely thank Sir Rod Stewart, Neil Lennon and so many others for taking the time to support our work in New York. Both men have been tremendous supporters of the club’s charitable dimension over many years, and we are delighted that once again they are backing Celtic FC Foundation.
“Last year’s event in New York was a huge success and we hope this year’s event will once again generate significant funds to allow us to continue our important work in helping those in need.”

We revealed last month that the 74-year-old singer had battled prostate cancer.
He was diagnosed in February 2016 during a routine check-up and fought the disease for three years.
