A "vital" food bank in Renfrewshire has been broken into.
Thieves stole goods and petty cash from the Renfrewshire Food Bank on Poterfield Road in Renfrew between 6.30pm on Wednesday and 8am on Thursday.
Officers are appealing for information to try and track down those responsible.

A spokesperson for the force said: "The food bank relies on funding to operate and is a vital service to our community.
"It helps to feed hungry families in the area that are struggling to make ends meet.
"Please help us catch the person(s) responsible."
Anyone who has any information or saw any acting suspiciously in the area is urged to call 101 quoting incident number 0667 of October 10.
