A missing pensioner with Alzheimers from Milngavie has been found safe and well.
His family grew increasingly concerned for his wellbeing, before police announced he was found safe and well in Glasgow.
Before being located, Peter Boocock was last seen by a neighbour at around 9am on Saturday in Strathblane Road.
The 87-year-old is known to walk considerable distances and has the ability to travel by rail or bus.
Mr Boocock has Alzheimers, and his family grew extremely worried.

He is white, around 5ft 9 inches in height with a slim build. He has white hair, which is receding and wears frameless glasses.
He was last seen wearing a mustard coloured jacket with beige coloured trousers, a white brimmed safari styled hat and a red tartan scarf.
Sergeant Alan Ferris said: “As time passes his family is becoming increasingly concerned for Peter’s wellbeing.
"Although he is 87, he is active and able to walk considerable distances.
"Peter also has the ability to travel by rail or bus and I am appealing to the public to let us know if they have seen Peter or if they have any information regarding his whereabouts.”

Greater Glasgow Police Division reported he had been found at 3.33pm today.
A spokesperson said: "We are pleased to report that 87 year old PEter Boocock, missing from Milngavie this morning has been traced safe and well in Glasgow."
