The heartbroken friends of a young Motherwell mum who died in Tenerife have raised hundreds of pounds for her family.
We told yesterday how 24-year-old Megan Brannan passed away at her “favourite” holiday hotspot while visiting with family.
She only gave birth to her daughter less than a year ago.
Hundreds of devastated pals have paid tribute to the “princess” on social media, raising more than £1000 for her grieving family.
A GoFundMe page was set up in the hours after her death to help the Brannan family.

It read: “Sadly we have lost an amazing person to us all and we can all say she was the most caring kind-hearted girl to every single one of us.
“This page is to help Megan’s family in this horrible heart breaking time as they are over in Tenerife and have lost their daughter and a beautiful little baby girl has lost her mum.
“Please if you can help at all I know the Brannan family will be extremely grateful at this devastating time.”
Around 70 people have donated to the page to help the family, who remain in Tenerife.
One donor, Diane Curtis, said: “My heartfelt condolences to her parents whom I know and all her family and friends.
“Very heartbreaking the loss of young Megan, just so very sad, may she rest in peace.”
Another , Alana Shorthouse, added: “Your memory will live on babe through your beautiful baby girl!
“You will be sorely missed by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting you”.
We told yesterday how her devastated sister Toni paid tribute to the former Our Lady's High School pupil.
She wrote: "My sister, my role model, my best friend, the light of my life.
"You taught me everything I know, you were a mother figure to me you did everything you possibly could in your life to make sure I was okay and protected me at all costs.
"We had a bond like no other and no one could ever understand how close we were and I promise I will do exactly that to your precious baby."
