Huge projections of Billy Connolly lit up landmarks in Glasgow and Edinburgh to celebrate the launch of Scotland’s national treasure’s new book Tall Tales and Wee Stories, which is published today.
Billy's face appeared on the BBC Scotland’s building, Glasgow City Chambers, The Royal Mile, and Edinburgh’s McEwan Hall.
This week Waterstones Sauchiehall Street are teaming up with Castle Fine Art Gallery – who house Connolly’s illustrated artwork – to host a pop-up gallery of Connolly’s illustrations, one of which forms the endpapers of the Waterstone’s exclusive edition.

Ali Findlay, founder and managing director of The Lane which supported the launch, commented:
