Footage has emerged of a devastating fire as it ripped through an East Renfrewshire school last night.
Fire crews were called to Mearns Primary just after 7.30pm to tackle the blaze.
Video from the scene shows flames bursting out the Newton Mearns building with smoke billowing into the air.
The clip was posted by Stephen Porteous, who wrote: "Fire at Mearns Primary tonight - brigade in attendance and under control - will be damage I would have thought".

Four fire crews were called to tackle the blaze. They are no longer in attendance.
Horried locals expressed their shock at the video.
One wrote: "This is awful".
While another last night commented: "Another post is suggesting it is more serious. A LOT of activity still going on there."
The council have since confirmed the school will be back open tomorrow.
They posted on Twitter: "UPDATE: @Mearns_Primary open to all pupils as normal tomorrow as fire damage limited to just one class.
"The nursery will be closed all day Tuesday after the completion of routine refurb work was delayed due to the fire but will reopen on Wednesday."

Local MP Paul Masterton last night tweeted: "Extremely concerned to hear about the fire at Mearns Primary School tonight.
"Thanks to the Fire Services for attending so quickly, and can only hope the damage is minimal ahead of the first day back at school.
"For those in the immediate area make sure and stay safe."
And Jackson Carlaw MSP wrote: "Very concerned to hear about a fire at Mearns Primary School tonight.
"Hope everybody is okay and the damage is minimal. #MearnsPrimary"
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed to the Evening Times: "We were called to an incident involving an external fire and Mearns Primary School at 7.31pm yesterday evening.
"Operation control mobilised four appliances to tackle the fire.
"We are no longer in attendance."
