A foot fetishist who offered an 'extremely vulnerable' teenager £40 and four cans of Dragon Soop to perform a sex act on him has been jailed.

Philip McDonnell, 51, contacted the 16-year-old girl by text message and continually referred to his ‘foot fetish’ in April and May this year.

McDonnell also asked her and her 18-year-old friend to travel to Newcastle to perform sex acts on each other.

He continued to badger the teenager and asked her to be his girlfriend.

McDonnell pleaded guilty last month at Glasgow Sheriff Court to acting in a threatening and abusive manner towards the two teens.

The court heard McDonnell contacted the "extremely vulnerable" 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons and inquired about a 'deal' between the two.

Prosecutor Lori Pidegon said: "When she asked what it was, she was told that it was a foot fetish. He offered her £40 and four cans of Dragon Soop."

The teen refused to perform a sex act on him, but he continued to bombard her with sex messages in which he mentioned spanking her.

McDonnell then asked if the girl and her friend would travel to Newcastle to “perform sex acts” on each other.

He also sent sex messages to the 18-year-old before the police were contacted and McDonnell was arrested.

Miss Pidgeon added: "He kept offering money and alcohol in return for performing sex acts."

“The accused also made reference to smacking her bottom and asking how she was punished as a child.”

The teenager was also asked if she wanted to be in a relationship with him.

Sheriff Alan Mackenzie jailed McDonnell for 18 months and added him to the sex offenders register for ten years.
