A man was found dead on the coast by Helensburgh yesterday afternoon.
The body was found at 3.45pm on October 25.
Police have yet to formally confirm the identity of the man but they have stated that the family of Rufus Brickell has been informed.
The 22-year-old went missing from the Dalry/Gogi area of Edinburgh on October 6 and was last seen walking across the Erskine Bridge.
CCTV footage showed Rufus getting off a train at Kilpatrick Station in West Dunbartonshire just after midnight on the Sunday before heading towards the bridge.

A police spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that around 3.45pm on Friday, 25 October 2019, the body of a man was found on the coast at Helensburgh."
"Formal identification has yet to take place however the family of 22-year-old Rufus Brickell who was reported missing from Edinburgh on Sunday, 6 October 2019 has been informed."
