A man was seriously assaulted in the south of Glasgow last night and is being treated for a head injury.
Police were called to the incident at 11.45pm on Saturday night and it took place on Paisley Road near to Govan Road.
Emergency services attended the scene and the 50-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The incident took place near Rangers fan favourite the Union Bar on Paisley road which was cordoned off by police.
A police spokesperson said: "Around 11.45pm on Saturday, 26 October 2019 police were called to a report of a man having been seriously assaulted on Paisley Road, near to Govan Road, Glasgow.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 4587 of Saturday 26 October 2019."
