A Glasgow mum-of-two has died while at a £13,000 'hot yoga' course in Mexico.

Phyllis Main, 62, flew out on October 3 to the luxury Princess Mundo Imperial Hotel in Acapulco for the intensive nine-week Bikram course.

It's thought she had a clean bill of health before travelling, however sadly passed away on Monday having been admitted to hospital on October 14.

It's not yet clear what caused Phyllis to take ill, with the Mail on Sunday reporting she was admitted into medical care with stomach pains.

Phyllis updated friends on Facebook ahead of jetting out, announcing she was leaving the Damn Hot yoga club in Finnieston to join the course.
