Commuters have been warned to expect delays during the peak morning travel period after a fault on the line caused disruption heading into Queen Street.
National Rail said a broken rail between Carntyne and Bellgrove was to blame for the delay, which could see some trains arrive up to ten minutes late.
UPDATE: After initial inspection we have discovered the signalling issue has been caused by a broken rail. We're working hard with out colleagues at @NetworkRailSCOT and will keep you updated.

The disruption is expected to last until at least 9:30am.
Rail tickets are now being accepted on local bus services.
