Motorists on the M8 have been warned to expect delays on their commute - after a swan was spotted on the road.
Traffic Scotland advised of the 'hazard' on the M8 West Street off ramp just after 8.30am on Wednesday morning.

CCTV pictures revealed the beaked intruder wandering around two lanes of traffic.

Concerns have been raised for the animal, with some speculating it may have 'crash landed' after suffering an injury.

A Tweet from Traffic Scotland read: "NEW 08.33 #M8 Hazard There is a swan at the #M8 West Street off ramp causing some problems this morning."
