An alcohol ban has been put in place across services on the central belt today ahead of Rangers semi-final match against Hearts.
Scotrail announced on Sunday morning they were implementing an extended booze prohibition until 3pm, just as the Betfred Cup semi-final kicks off at Hampden.
It will affect all services between Glasgow Central/Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh via all routes, as well as Glasgow Central and Mount Florida.
🚫 Alcohol is banned on services from Edinburgh to Glasgow (via all routes) & from Glasgow Central to Mount Florida until 1500 today. Please don't try to bring alcohol on these trains.

They say the ban also applies to all intermediate stations and replacement buses.
